1. About HumanizeInline

HumanizeInline (“HumanizeInline”, “we”, “us”) is a Chrome extension with a supporting website at humanizeinline.com. It rewrites text you explicitly select so it reads more naturally and, optionally, closer to your own writing style. This policy describes how information is handled.

Our use of information received through the Humanize AI Text Chrome extension adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

2. Mailing list

If you joined our mailing list, we hold the email address you provided. We use it only to send you product updates, and you can ask us to remove it at any time by writing to support@humanizeinline.com.

3. Text you choose to process

The extension processes only the specific text you select for humanization. Full conversation history is never read. The selected text is sent to our backend and to our AI model provider in order to perform the rewrite.

We do not store the text of your requests after the request completes.

4. Personal Voice Profiles

If you create a Personal Voice Profile, the writing samples you supply are analysed once to derive style characteristics such as sentence length, rhythm, vocabulary and formality. The raw samples are discarded and are never written to our database. Only the derived profile is stored, and you can delete it from the extension at any time.

5. Accounts and billing

The first time you use the extension, an anonymous account is created for you. It holds an identifier, a plan and a word counter. If you try My Voice on the free plan, it also holds a count of how many free My Voice rewrites and Voice Profile builds you have used. These counts contain no text and are kept with the account until the account is deleted. If you link an email address, we store it, and Supabase sends the one-time sign-in code to it.

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments; we never see or store card details. The email address given at checkout is stored against the account so the subscription can be restored later. We also store the payment provider’s customer and subscription identifiers.

6. Operational logs

We record request identifiers, the internal account identifier, the endpoint, character counts, token counts, latency, model name, HTTP status and an error category. We do not log the content of your text. Logs are retained for up to 30 days.

A free My Voice rewrite also records a short bookkeeping entry so the same request is never counted twice — a request identifier and the number of words it reserved, never any text. These entries are deleted after 7 days.

Our authentication and session provider, Supabase, also records technical metadata with each sign-in session — including your IP address and browser user agent — to operate sessions securely and to prevent abuse. It is kept for as long as that session exists.

7. Sub-processors

  • Supabase — database, authentication and serverless functions; also delivers one-time sign-in codes by email.
  • Anthropic — the language model that performs the rewriting. Text sent through the API is not used for training.
  • Dodo Payments — payment processing and subscription management.

8. Cookies, analytics and advertising measurement

The website uses a first-party analytics script provided by our hosting platform, which records page views, referrers and a session identifier so we can measure traffic. It is not used for advertising and does not track you across other websites.

The website also uses the Google tag for Google Ads, so we can tell whether someone who arrived from one of our ads went on to open our Chrome Web Store listing. Where you allow it, Google sets cookies or uses local storage in your browser for this — for example _gcl_au — and receives data about that click. We use it for advertising measurement only. We do not sell your data, and the extension itself contains no advertising or analytics tracking of any kind.

You choose. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland nothing is stored for advertising until you accept; elsewhere you can reject it at any time. Use Cookie preferences at the bottom of any page to change your mind whenever you like. Rejecting leaves the site, the links and the extension working exactly as before.

How Google handles this data is described in Google's Privacy Policy and in how Google uses data from sites that use its services.

9. Your choices

You can delete your Voice Profile from the extension at any time. Uninstalling the extension removes data stored locally on your device, including the counter it uses to decide when to ask you for a review. To delete your account or request a copy of your data, email support@humanizeinline.com and we will action it within 30 days, except for billing records we are required to retain under tax law.

10. Changes

This policy will be updated to reflect the features actually offered. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above.
