Terms of Service

1. The service

HumanizeInline is subscription-based AI writing and productivity software, delivered digitally as a Chrome extension and supporting web services. It rewrites text that a user explicitly submits so that it reads more naturally and, optionally, closer to the user’s own writing style.

2. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for reviewing any text produced by the service before you use, publish or submit it. Output generated with the assistance of AI models may contain errors, omissions or altered nuance. The service is designed to preserve important information such as names, numbers, links and citations, but this cannot be guaranteed in every case.

You are also responsible for complying with the rules, policies and terms that apply to you — including those of your school, employer, publisher or any platform you use.

3. No outcome guarantee

We make no guarantee that transformed text will achieve any particular outcome, classification, score or result with any third-party system or reviewer.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to break the law, to infringe others’ rights, to misrepresent authorship where authorship must be disclosed, to submit content you have no right to submit, or to interfere with, overload, reverse engineer or resell the service without permission. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

5. Intellectual property

You keep the rights you have in the text you submit and, as between you and us, in the rewritten output you receive. The extension, website, software, brand and design remain our property and are licensed to you, not sold, for use in accordance with these terms.

6. Subscriptions and cancellation

Plans and price. The free plan includes 2,500 words per month and needs no payment details. Pro includes 150,000 words per month, the Personal Voice Profile and longer rewrites. Pro costs $11.99 per month or $89 per year. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any sales tax or VAT that applies where you live; tax is added at checkout and shown before payment.

Recurring billing. Pro is a subscription billed in advance. It renews automatically at the same price — monthly for a monthly plan, yearly for a yearly plan — and your payment method is charged on each renewal date until you cancel. Payment is taken by Dodo Payments.

Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from “Manage subscription” in the extension popup, which opens the payment provider’s portal. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not end the period you have already paid for, and Pro stays active until that period ends. There is no cancellation fee.

Price changes. If the price of a plan changes, the new price applies from the next renewal and we notify customers by email beforehand so they can cancel first.

7. Refunds

Our refund policy. If Pro isn’t working for you, contact us within 14 days of your first payment. We’ll review your request and, where appropriate, refund your first payment to the original payment method.

Renewal payments are not refundable, except where required by applicable law. To avoid the next charge, cancel before your renewal date.

If we fully refund a payment, the Pro access it paid for ends when the refund is issued.

Your statutory rights. Depending on where you live, you may have statutory cancellation, withdrawal or refund rights. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the product develops. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
